I've always wanted to know...
Why do semi drivers insist on driving 70 MPH on the interstate when it is snowing and blowing and everyone else on the highway is driving 50 MPH???
So, I asked my husband, who happens to be a semi driver.
Me: "Honey, why do semi drivers insist on driving 70 MPH when everyone else is driving 50 MPH and the roads are yucky?"
Him: "Because we can."
Him: "We have 80,000 pounds behind us and are going to stick to the road as long as we keep it straight."
Me: "Oh, ok. But what about if you DON'T keep it straight, or what about the other drivers on the road?"
Him: No response
So there you have it folks, they do it because they can!
Which sucks for the rest of us.
