Wow, I just survived another busy weekend.

We started off the weekend on Friday night by winning our last soccer game!  Yeah, blue team!  We now get a break from craziness for a week, then swimming lessons start.

Saturday I had a ton of errands to run.  I had to run to the bank, pick up my apparel and credentials for the LPGA State Farm Classic this week (I volunteer), buy baby gifts, find something to wear to my niece's baptism, get the girls haircuts, pick up the big one's dress from Uncle Rich's house so she could wear it to the baptism, stop by the Country Market to pick up tomato plants and something for supper, clean the living room and kitchen, clean out the car, convince hubby to mow the lawn, do laundry and try to sleep at some point in time.

I got most done.  My neighbors ruined some of the list.  As hubby and I went outside to contemplate the yard, said neighbors yelled at us, "Hey, come over for a beer.  It's Saturday!"

So we decided to go over for one beer.  As we watched the girls play with all the neighbor kids, we turned one beer into three hours and about four beers.  So much for the lawn and the living room and the laundry and the car.  Oh well, they were right, it was Saturday.

Sunday we went to see my new niece get baptized.  I was the Godmother, so I played an important role.  It went well, except for the fact that the priest almost drowned my niece!  Seriously!!  He poured a pitcher of water over her entire face; nose, mouth, eyes, and all!  She was choking and gasping for air, and he kept pouring.  We were all a little stunned for a minute.  But she finally caught her breath, and seemed ok by the time we got back to my sister's house.  Wow, that really freaked me out!

In other good news, WE ARE MOVING!!

We are moving to Auburn at the end of June, to a house that has cabinets, and counters, and a dishwasher, and a laundry room, and closet space, and a master bedroom with more that 2 feet on either side of the bed.  I am so excited!  I am dreading and looking forward to packing.  I'm looking forward to de-cluttering, getting rid of stuff and cleaning.  But I am not looking forward to de-cluttering, getting rid of stuff and cleaning.  Know what I mean?  (We've been at our current house for 11 years, lots of de-cluttering to do.)

Anyway, that's my news and weekend round-up.

Have a great week!!
