BioI am a mother of 2 young girls, ages 3 and 4. They are the light of my world, they keep me going. My husband travels during the week quite a bit, so I often feel like a single mother Monday through Friday. I work full time as a grantwriter/ fundraiser for a comminuty health center and part time as the beverage cart driver for a golf course on league night. I am an aspiring children's book writer and a member of the Illinois SCBWI. I try to be well rounded and teach my girls that as well. We go to sporting events, the theater, the park, we read a lot, whatever we can find to do that will be fun for all of us. I am a fan of nascar, go Jeff Gordon (that was for my husband). I am a huge Cardinals Fan, Bears Fan and Illini Fan!! I am a former make up artist and still a bit of a cosmetic junkie. And then there are the clothes and shoes, so glad I have girls so I can pass that trait along!!
